And I Have Hope. It’s Going To Be Okay. I Can Make Something Of Myself. I Will Not Run Away I Will Carry On.
downrightdavid asked: Well, it doesn't help that I'm pretty terrible at coming up with melodies that are memorable. If I could do something like that, I would be a lot more willing to put effort toward becoming a musician. You'll probably have a lot more success at the music thing than me.
downrightdavid asked: I would totally join your band if I had any talent in songwriting or any sort of musical anything apart from learning music which has already been written.
Just Out Of Curiosity, Does Anyone Like Rancid?
downrightdavid asked: Yeah, I can definitely understand that. I just wish I could keep the constant passion about music every day for as long as I could until the end of my life the way some bands seem to do.
Of course, if I was offered an opportunity to be in a band, I would take it and suddenly have a lot more emotional energy.

Dear Tumblr, Let Me See My Fucking Messages. Love, Olivia.
downrightdavid asked: I definitely want to be able to make a difference in someone's life with whatever I end up doing as a job/career/life thing. I just don't know if I'd be able to have the emotional energy required to do the musician thing. It seems like something I wouldn't be able to maintain as constantly as possible.

It’s Not Just About You Anymore. I Wish You’d Understand What It’s Become. It’s Much More Personal. There’s Much More Hurt.
There Is Absolutely No Need For A Response. There Were No Passive Jabs, I Just Need Some Sort Of An Outlet (Or I Wouldn’t Be Able To Make It).
You Know, Damn Straight, How I Feel. I’m Sorry, I’ve Tried, I Can’t Change Anything. Don’t You Think I Would?
School -_-
downrightdavid asked: Yeah. I'm just a person. I'm not anything more than that. I'd be glad that I'm this role model, but I wouldn't be able to be perfect. I'd be so scared if I let any fans down. I would go crazy if I became famous for my music or writing.
And This Sentiment Makes Me Incredibly Unhappy.

You’re Not Who I Want To Be With And You Never Ever Were
downrightdavid asked: Yeah, I don't know. I think if I were in a band and I was the songwriter and a fan came up to me and said "Your band's music saved my life", I would just be so shocked that I have the ability to have such a huge impact on another person's life. I would stand there, realize I had written the things that helped make someone's life so much different, and I wouldn't...
Did I mention I saw a chick who looked like Snape...

Did you walk past her and whisper “my god, the half blood princess”
No I walked past her, and she told me to open up a book I was holding to 394.

downrightdavid asked: I think a lot of people in bands actually get really nervous when it comes to meeting fans. Like, they're great on stage, talking to the crowd, but when they try meeting the individual fans, they get a lot shyer. I would be the same way.
downrightdavid asked: Yeah, and Bemis was just walking and this girl who was friends with one of my friends and who I had to give a ride home got her picture taken with him. He looked kinda... tired, I guess? Not the biggest smiler in the world, him, but he seemed like a pretty cool dude.
bluelighthouses asked: OH! Well I'm sorry for being mistaken!
Yes, yes. It would be fun. I'd make some of my friends take it with them to parties and stuff.

Reblog if your mom is beautiful.
downrightdavid asked: Yeah, I've just always thought Motion City Soundtrack had music that was great for helping me through hard times. It's really interesting and entertaining to watch Justin dance around on stage, though. He really is an incredibly awesome guy.
bluelighthouses asked: Lol. I didn't know you got high. Have fun anyways! It's at the book store at Town and Country! I found it and thought it was hilarious.
downrightdavid asked: Yeah, i don't know. I'm just such a huge fan of Motion City Soundtrack that it made my night perfect. I wasn't even gonna be able to go to the concert at first because I had a girlfriend, and her mom's birthday was the same night as the show, but then she broke up with me, so I didn't have to go to the party. The only problem was, I was really sad and in need of something...

downrightdavid asked: Oh, they were second for us. I'm pretty sure I saw a bunch of older people at the show, and I think they were there to try and recapture their teenage years of listening to Saves the Day. For me, though, the whole experience with Motion City Soundtrack was what made the night awesome. Saves the Day just made me appreciate Motion City Soundtrack being talented and sounding good so much more.
downrightdavid asked: Yeah, I know a lot of music people who are always freaking out about Saves the Day, and I saw them and wasn't impressed. It was kind of a let down, really.
Yeah. Such an amazing show.
Yeah. Such an amazing show.
downrightdavid asked: I made a t-shirt when I saw Motion City Soundtrack, then met Tony and Justin. Justin signed it while I was wearing it. The way he did it was like a dance with a pen against my shirt. He looked so awesome, and he struck this awesome pose at the end of signing it.
Saves the Day... the singer's voice just annoys me so much. I couldn't stand it.

downrightdavid asked: Motion City Soundtrack is great ANYWHERE. They're my second favorite band ever. Say Anything was pretty awesome, too, as was Valencia. (unpopular opinion) I didn't even care about Saves the Day. I was impressed with Valencia mostly because it was just two guys playing an acoustic set (the rest of the group was still in California with their vehicle, which needed a new... transmission? Or...
